A Story of Resilience and Leadership

A highlight of the evening was the insightful session with Major Nittakorn Chamrat of the Royal Malaysian Air Force (RMAF). As the first and only female pilot for the VVIP/VIP Fleet, Major Nittakorn’s story of resilience in a male-dominated field deeply resonated with all in attendance. Her journey is not just one of personal achievement, but a powerful advocacy for gender inclusion within the armed forces. Her words served as a powerful reminder of the change we can inspire through determination and leadership.

The Symbolism of Equate8

The launch of the Equate8 logo was a moment of profound significance. Designed by Dunia Talat Haikal, a talented 15-year-old from Fugee School and a finalist of the Girlpreneur Boot Camp for Refugees, the logo symbolizes the infinite possibilities of Equate8. Dunia’s explanation of the design’s meaning was a moment of pure inspiration, illustrating the impact young minds can have when given the opportunity to rise. The logo is more than just a symbol; it represents the boundless potential that Equate8 embodies.

The peacock was chosen over other animals or birds due to its unique visual appeal and symbolic significance. The combination of purple and red hues in the logo represents creativity and passion—qualities essential for success. The white silhouette of the peacock in the center signifies purity and focus, reflecting CnetG’s clear vision and dedication.

Moreover, the peacock is often associated with renewal and transformation, perfectly aligning with Equate8’s mission to continually innovate and evolve. Its ability to thrive in diverse environments symbolizes adaptability and resilience—traits crucial in today’s dynamic business landscape. The logo’s eight bright feathers embody confidence and power, elegantly capturing the essence of “infinity”. This conveys an ever-evolving, resilient path forward, where opportunities and potential are limitless, continuously expanding over time.

Acknowledgments and Gratitude

We are deeply grateful to Reggie Weston, Executive Director of 2C2P, for skillfully moderating the conversation with Major Nittakorn Chamrat. Reggie’s thoughtful questions and engaging style elevated the discussion, making it a truly impactful experience.

The evening was filled with enriching conversations, rekindled connections, and new friendships—all within a supportive and empowering space. The name “Equate” reflects the force of women in society, while the number “8” represents infinity—symbolizing the unbounded potential and continuous opportunities that arise when men and women unite for a common cause.
